So I have been very busy and installed PLEG back in March but haven’t had much time to do much with it. I just recently dug into it with a bit of concentration on how it works rather than just trying to go at it without reading or viewing help videos on Youtube…
At any rate, I set up a simple Logical event such that if either of the back patio lights or fans are on, the gazebo lights and fans come on. I tried to add another one for if these are off then the gazebo lights and fans turn off. When I did this the graph became a mess so I deleted it and am starting over. I know I’m under a trial license and get three devices and 5 conditions or actions to test out but know that this is definitely something to purchase more licenses as needed for sure.
At any rate, I think I’m under the limit but wanted to verify if each device state contributes to that limit, ei is Lights off a device and lights on a device and if this is why I’m having issues. Also, how to set it up to have two separate and distinct conditional actions such as lights a and b on yield light c on and lights a and b off yield light c off?
There are different limits … I doubt you are hitting one.
It will print a message at the top of your Vera Web page if you do.
It’s best to post the “Status” report when you have a problem.

I bought one (of probably many) license(s) yesterday.
The graph above was just a test, my first successful attempt I should say.
My plan is to use PLEG to conditionally control a lot of things. I’d like to start with HVAC actually and have it control heat and cool depending on both internal readings and on information from the virtual temperature inputs from the Weather Plugin. Any links of guides for doing this?
For $6.50 (did the price increase since you posted it on your site?) for each license I don’t see an issue with buying as many as needed to do what it is I want to do…
If you have a license then your can create 4 PLEG devices per license.
Each PLEG can practically hold about 20-30 conditions and all the inputs needed to support those conditions.
Each condition is roughly equivalent to a Vera Scene.
So a single license supports the equivalent of 80-120 scenes.
So you have to work hard to need more than 1 or 2 licenses.
You can put only a few conditions in a PLEG device … it might be simpler to view/edit … then you may need more than 1 or 2 licenses.
Yes, I see how important these and Logic Reports can be in ferreting out issues in the logical conditions to diagnose errors.

Yes, Four will probably suit me just fine for now. The thing with having too many conditional statements or triggers and devices is that the graph gets unwieldy to analyze. I only set up two right now and the graph is already getting “busy” The reports though are pretty clear.
I know I’ll be loving this plugin going forward as it brings forward all the Boolean Logic that should have just been natively included in Vera to begin with. Thank you Richard for creating it and making it available for the rest of us to use!
One Question. Does it create hidden lua code not visible in the Vera Interface? Is it found in a SSH or PuTTY into the OS? (Guess that was two).
