get start with luup code

hello

someone can help me?, i’m new in lua code and i like to create an scene for my vera3, i like to turn on a light when a motionsensor change of state every time that it happen, but i dont know anything for luup code, please help me, if someone have a manual for begginers please let me note

There is no manual for luup coding. It is more or less lua programming language and knowing the api calls for Vera’s luup engine which can be found on the wiki http://wiki.micasaverde.com. Searching the forum would be a good start. Also reading up on the lua programming language (use your favorite search engine). Also have a look at the PLEG plugin (search the forum) that was developed by RichardTSchaefer. There are manu examples on this forum that should provide you a good starting point.
