GE 45609

Can’t get my Vera 2 to include a GE 45609. Most folks posting here are having 3-way switch wiring issues. I don’t have that issue. I have working neutrals that I’ve connected to the switch. This one is installed as a single pole switch and it works fine. But I can’t get my Vera 2 to include it. At first I thought the issue was with the Vera 2, contacted customer support, they accessed my unit and saw a couple of things that they corrected. I still could not get the Vera to include the switch. So i went to another device that responds properly, detached it from my system and re-included it and it works fine. So the issue is not with the Vera. Next I thought I must have a defective switch. I happened to have purchased two so I replaced the switch. Still, the Vera wouldn’t include the switch. I’ve tried reseting the switch with the air gap and i’ve tried detaching and re-including the switch. still nothing. Does anybody have any ideas?
