I have a VeraLite with a IRIS GD00Z-1 that works fine. I would like to create an alert when the door is opened. I can create a scene that triggers when the door is activated, but that could mean door open or door close. The Vera clearly knows the state of the door as there is a sensor on the door and that state is shown in the Vera. I can’t seem to figure out how to check that status. How can I create an alert for just open?
Just a bump to see if anyone knows how to get the door state on a Linear/Iris GDO? Clearly the VeraLite sees it as the open/close icon is correct.
