Hi Everyone,

I am new to the Vera development, but I have managed to get Motion events from a Foscam camera to trigger lights in my house. I am guessing this might be useful to others so I have attached my example. But if someone else has a better way to achieve the same thing it would be good to hear from you.

Is there any way of doing this without having to ping the camera every x seconds?
I would like to be able to use the motion detection from the camera to initiate some picture captures and then upload to DropBox with the awesome uploader app found here: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,16518.0.html
The trick is that I only want to do this if the system is armed.
I know I can do this with the addition of a separate motion sensor but would rather do it with fewer pieces of equipment.
Any ideas?
