Hello,

I just bought four foscam FI9805W devices for around my house. I’m working on adding the first device into my Veralite following some of the forum posts I’ve found but not having any success. The device shows up but the dashboard and view won’t display the image. I’ve manually tested the URL and it does return a JPG. Below are my tech specs. Let me know. I’ve seen people say that they have it working.

Foscam: FI9805W
System Firmware Version 1.4.1.7
Application Firmware Version 1.14.1.21
Plug-In Version 2.0.1.4

VeraLite: UI5 - 1.5.622
Foscam Plugin - 2.6

Camera Device:
URL - /cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?usr=vera&pwd=&cmd=snapPicture
Username -
Password -
MAC -
IP - 192.168.150.115 (same network as the vera)
device_type - urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:DigitalSecurityCamera:2

impl_file - I_FoscamPTZ.xml

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’d love to be able to get the device minimally showing the snapshot and being able to motion detect for scene triggers. Ultimate would be to enable streaming if possible.

Same problem here.

I solved it by using the url as provided at this webpage: Connect to Foscam cameras

http://IPADDRESS/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]&

Having the same issue, i can get the camera to show up on the dashboard if i choose a Generic Camera, but i can not get an image to show.

What settings are you using Jonah?
