Foscam FI8910W Camera Integrate in Veralite?

Hi,

Anyone know how o get my foscam camera integraed with veralite? Do I need to install a MIOS app plugin in order for it to see it in veralite?

If you have successful integrate this please provide info on how to do this step by step. I’m pretty new to this.

Have you looked at the many other threads related to foscam cameras. There is a good amount of information on setting them up on this forum. You also haven’t stated what camera you have. Search is your friend.

I searched the forum and people all talk about it was very easy to setup the foscam FI8910 camera. I downloaded the foscam app like everyone else, but I do not see it device sensor or anywhere. Is there something I need to do before it show up after installing the foscam plugin? I even went to the developer website of the foscam but there is no instruction on how to get it going.

Question is after I install the foscam camera does it auto show up in the camera and security?

There are a couple of things you need to do to have the Motion sensor visible. Please go through the steps in the Foscam thread.

thanks… just started reading. Why there is no documentation after you install the foscam plugin you need to go created a device and under upnp devfile enter the name D_DigitalSecurityCamera1.xml?

After that the camera show up. Now the next step is why there is no documentation that after that is finish you need to go the setting and enter the IP address and username and password? Do anyone got documenation on this? This is really getting frustrated reading all this thread and late came about the answer. It is just like a trial and error. Try this and try that.

that would be great… just make a new thread titled Walkthrough and/or FAQ, etc… so people can find it easily.

I am about to purchase a Foscam FI8910W (White) Wireless B/G/N IP Camera directly from Foscam’s website. My intention is to use it as a baby monitor - and if i like it to by another to monitor the front door/door bell area. Are we sure this will work with Veralite? I"m also not very tech savvy and only have 2-3 z-wave devices working properly. Am I going to be able to get this thing working? If the “walkthrough” or detailed set-up thread was every posted it would be great if someone could point me to it! I welcome any advice at all on the Foscam F18910W and its use with Veralite. Thank you.

I am in the same boat. I have a FI8910W.
Device Firmware Version 11.37.2.59
Device Embeded Web UI Version 2.0.10.12

With a Veralite, You are running the latest version: 1.5.622 .

I have seen several different instructions but not sure what would be best for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
