Foscam Cannot stream remotely through 2wire modem

My Foscam has been doing great streaming remotely through my actiontec modem.
see this thread http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,7987.0.html

However, I have 2 different clients using ATT&T 2wire modems and i cannot get either of them to stream remotely.

It just so happens one of them lives across the street from me so once again I can have one PC connected to their network and the other to my own so I can keep trying different firewall/port settings etc.

The modems are 2wire 2701HG-B’s and I have tried port forwarding in many different ways (to the camera, to vers, port 3482, port 80 etc.) I have tried changing the ip:port of the Foscams and nothing has worked yet.

Why has support not responded to my ticket?

Why does video still not stream after I have “forwarded port 3482” to Vera?

why?

The AT&T 2701HG-B 2Wire Wireless Gateway DSL Router Modem are pretty bad all in one modems/routers. If you google it, you’ll find a lot of issues and I’ve had experiences with that model. I recommend that you just put the modem in bridge mode function and get a linksys wireless router that can run dd-wrt or a wireless router that supports Dynamic DNS. Don’t forget to set the wireless router to do PPPoE or whatever new standard that the DSL providers are doing now.

Hope this helps.
