Which of the foscam cameras on amazon are real, and work with Vera 2? I had one ordered and than I read there are grey market ones on there so I cancelled and figured I would check here. Just thought I would check and see if anyone has had good luck with one over the others. Thanks.
I have no idea to be honest but here’s what I can tell you for sure. If you get a bad one from a company that doesn’t support them it’s a frustrating nightmare you not believe. I can’t recommend strongly enough that you get it from David over at http://www.ipcam-central.com/
David not only helped me with a camera that I didn’t buy from him, he also replaced one that I didn’t buy from him. Easily the best service you will find and, for me at least, I will gladly take a mediocre product that has great customer support over a good product with no customer support.

I was looking at the pricing of the Foscam cameras at IP Central and at Amazon sold by IP Central and noticed a $30 difference. Anyone knows why this is the case?

I ordered one from him on amazon it was a dollar more, he doesn’t have prime 2 day shipping but I figured the piece of mind knowing you have someone to talk to is worth the wait. Thanks for your help.

I kind of wondered about that also. I am guessing they put the price low on amazon to match what the other guys are selling them for. Not sure but I hope that is the right conclusion I ordered mine from them on Amazon due to the good feedback here.
Here’s the list of authorized resellers from foscam.com. I bought one from of Amazon this week using one of these sellers. There are a lot of fakes out there, especially on ebay.
