I have read through the forum and cannot find what my problem is. When I go to add the camera, I get a popup box asking to login, but it says THE SERVER HTTP://192.168.1.129:80 REQUIRES A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. THE SERVER SAYS:IPCAMERA_00626E52FB07. This is not the correct IP for my camera. It seems like its trying to look for the camera at the wrong IP address and even though I type the correct one in, it keeps looking for this IP. Any thoughts, or can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’m not sure this will be of much help, but configure a static address on your camera, and get the web interface working solid before bringing Vera into it.
I have all Foscama; and yet my plugin as for “Apexis IP Camera” LOL. It was the only way I could get Vera to talk to my cameras. I gave up on the pan/tilt/zoom (on my inside cams that support it). At some point, you get very happy to even show an image…
Yeah I’m there brother! I have the camera working great on its own. Just can’t get Vera to see it correctly. I may just leave it out of Vera.
Too many issues here as well so I’m now having Blue Iris managing my IP camera’s/ Thanks to Undertoe’s Blue Iris plugin, Vera now can handle far more camera models and brands. The only drawback is you have to run a Windows box 24/7 for the Blue Iris software. No big deal for me as I already have a WHS2011 box setup.
