Fortrezz WV-01: does anyone's icon show red busy when they activate it?

Got a new WV-01 and included it on my Vera 3 UI-5, got mode and timer on WV-01 set properly.

Device shows up and reflects correct position of valve. I did notice that when I send a command to the WV-01, while it works, I get an error… “Node reports it’s busy Transmit was ok”

Changed device type to be Relay to make it look better, same symptoms still showing. Its working and reporting state of valve and can control the valve, but sending the open/close command still gives you the red “Node reports it’s busy Transmit was ok” even though it is responding correctly to commands.

Any thoughts on whats happening?

Additional info:

I notice in the logs when vera polls it, there is an error showing too:
ZWaveNode::HandlePollUpdate_Application_Status got APPLICATION_BUSY for 21 <0x2c05b680>

According to the manual if valve was power cycled it will reply with busy until you manually do a cycle at the valve using the close/open buttons. Did this as well.

Okay, just in case I don’t hear anything, have opened ticket 108769. Will advise here of final solution for future reference.

I have one of these and I’ve seen this in the past for a few years now. I just tried mine and no issues, I don’t use it often but rarely see this issue

good luck

Got this back on my ticket… anyone I have chatted with, here and offline that has a WV-01 say they don’t see this behaviour with theirs.

Hello,

That message is not an error. I checked the water valve and it?s configured and working properly.

Thank you!

Curious to know how you resolved this. I have just installed the Fortrezz valve with UI-7 and I get the same message.
Thanks

To this day, it’s not resolved. It works just fine opening and closing. You just get an error, ooops… a mean ‘that message’ for awhile after you activate it. And you can see the response I got from my ticket. “Its not an error”, well maybe it shouldn’t show up in RED letters then. Its one of those annoyances I have learned to ignore.

Also while on the subject, this device is not usable via the VERA android app. You will need to create two scenes. One to open the valve, one to close it, and activate it via the scenes.
