MCV the Fortrezz sensor does not show temp in this new beta release.
Is there something I need to do. I do have a early version. It worked however in the non Luup firmware.

How often Fortrezz wakes up to report a temperature?
It works for me. I had it working from 918 all the way through 940. It does not wake up too often though… It may take up to an hour to initially display the temperature and also to reset the tripped state. So I guess that’s the wake-up interval. Of course, it reports alarm/tripped state much faster - usually in few seconds.

How do you setup the target temperature?
I’m thinking to use it to control heater in the bedroom - if temp goes below comfort zone - turn it on, when it’s OK, turn it off - possible?

Basically, while it reports temperature, Vera can’t use it as an event. Temp sensor in HSM100 can be used this way though.
Weirrrd! Freeze sensor doesn’t work as freeze sensor!

HSM100 can’t be used for this - it simply reports temperature once in a while, I’m looking for something that would signal if temperature crosses threshold.
The fortrezz does report an alarm when Freezing.
I suppose you can write a luup event

Can I tell the sensor what I consider “freezing”? I’m freezing if temp goes below 66F
It will trigger an alarm when IT thinks it’s freezing
There is no event like “temperature reached” in Vera to react on ANY set temperature though

FortrezZ reports current temperature every time it wakes up, like HSM100 (btw, I was not suggesting to use it for this, just making an example)
FortrezZ also “trips”, like a motion sensor, when either water leak detected or freezing temperature reached. AFAIK, you can’t pre-set this temperature.
What I was saying, unlike HSM100, Vera can’t even use the temperature it reads from FortrezZ in scenes, as you can’t add it as an event “temp reached”. Which is IMHO a software bug.

Looks like a bug - but it’s not unless someone goes and opens one.
I contacted Fortrezz, what they say is
- WWA-01 wakes up to report temperature once in 4 hours, this is configurable
- WWA-01 freeze sensor triggers an alert at about 4 degrees C, and it’s hardcoded value
- their “in development” WWA-03 has configurable temperature settings, at least for now
Ok, my FortrezZ WWA-01 started buzzing all the time! I opened it up and on the accessible side of the PCB there is only a battery (3.6V Li-ion, 1/2AA) and a buzzer/beeper. So, unless I remove the battery, it keeps buzzing - resetting it won’t help either. Has anyone every seen this??

The VERA default wake up notification interval for the water sensor is 1800 seconds. Waking up every 30 minutes is un-necessary for this device. We suggest wake up to be every 4 hours (14400 sec). This will dramatically save battery life.
How would I access the wakeup interval to change it? My Fortrezz doesn’t show a wakeup interval like my Express Controls 3-in-1s do.
