First impressions of 1.0.918

I am/have been using 899, I used 918 for about 12 hours when it came out before I went back. I had some serious delays using zwave commands with 918. Good news is that Aaron isolated that problem and it should be fixed in the next release…

This should fix the delays. It will be released soon: http://download.controlmyhouse.net/betafirmware/ftp/wl500gP_Luup-1.0.937.trx

@micasaverde

What about this:

Hmm, I just noticed there are no wattage numbers in the dashboard, as was in 616... Is it just me?

Also, I no longer see “Last Wakeup” for the battery operated devices AND no battery levels on any of my battery operated devices…

I have these problems with 918 and now with 937
Are those officially deprecated in the Luup releases? Or I have some sort of misconfiguration?

Upgraded to 939 tonight, ill post my experience, hopefully we have only good news :slight_smile: i am relieved to see this address the slowdowns and crashes though…

939 just stoped responding to my zwave commands, tried running my goodnight scene, nothing happened… soft rebooted vera (remotely from vera interface), everything was fine again and scene worked… still the same old problems…

wonderful

One thing that I’ve noticed is that the page refresh time is way too quick. I think it’s about 5 seconds. If you’re typing in a textbox it will be wiped away. So you better type quick

I found BOSSTON’s problem and posted in another thread. It’s a faulty Leviton node that’s sending constant application_busy errors and Vera wasn’t handling it elegantly causing it to get ‘stuck’. We fixed it and I patched his system.

Unfortunately, it’s not a faulty Leviton node - pretty much all of them get stuck after some time working with Vera…

So, handling these cases more elegantly is certainly great. It remains to be seen why it even happens…

Yes, I can verify this problem is fixed for now, been running great for 24 hours, still no delays. Thanks MCV for finding this problem, it seems like it is going to affect more people than just me.
