First Day with Vera Lite and UI5

First project is to switch on a lamp at sunset, then turn it off again after 5 hours.

Vera Lite fired up, firmware upgraded, Vera associated with socket into which required lamp is plugged. Bingo, I can turn it on and off from the browser (and my iPhone).

But, trying to set up a scene with conditional triggers has left me stuck. “New Users click here” and I did that and eventually found a link to “timers”. This tries to take me to a link called “h…p://docs5.mios.com/doc.php?page=timers” - which doesn’t exist!

Without documentation, I’m lost.

I have managed to create a scene, but it isn’t scheduled to start until midnight tonight. What happened to 30mins after sunset?

under schedules, you can choose to run stuff at sunset or at a specific time before sunset (assuming you’ve set up your location and timezone correctly) …

I raised a support issue regarding the lack of obviously available reference material and they kindly pointed me at:
