Bear with me as I have only had my vera lite for a week and having a love (all the possibilities) hate (the aeon HEM monitor) relationship with it at the moment.
Today when logging onto the web interface today it says there is an update to 1.5.622 and should click on the link to upgrade.
However reading through the forums its suggested not to upgrade through the link. Was this due to the firmware not being available directly to the units or that it can cause problems using this process?
The upgrade via your Vera should work. What you maybe reading was the initial beta release which is now released as the current released firmware. However whilst it was a beta release that link wont upgrade and subsequently after general release people were utilising old links which were redundant and hence not functional.
… Once the correct platform is select, Vera lite in your case, it will display the link for that model as you have in your post. So, yes you can use that link but technical both should work.
