I upgraded my Vera system from 1.0.616 to 1.0.979 to gain cell phone control and almost everything has stopped working since the “upgrade”. The first thing I noticed was that my Home Manageables Door/Window Sensor HM-DW001, which worked perfectly before, doesn’t work at all. I have reset the device multiple times and re-added it to Vera, but no luck. I am currently trying to get either my ZIR000 motion sensor, or my HSM100 3-in-1 to act as a security motion sensor and turn on a light and notify via e-mail but can’t seem to get Vera to respond to motion sensed by either.
I even did a Vera reset, and set the entire network back up, and cannot get the sensors to work. I have tried forcibly configuring nodes (right after power on, or button push).
I will say that my dimmer switch does still work, and so does my Schlage Deadbolt.
Please help.
Have you tried excluding the devices and then re-adding them?
Have you cleared your browser’s cache and then reload the page? All of the problems you are listing here were fixed (or not even existed) in the firmware 1.0.979.
I had to do a reset after my upgrade with exact same symtoms you described - the double on black button on the back. After that Vera took some time but configured everything of it’s own including locks and even sclage codes (just the names were missing).
I can not guarantee that this will help you but thought will mention this as an option before you start deleting your devices and start all over again.
Additionally, hope you upgraded your dongle as well.

I have tried excluding and re-including all of the devices. I am still having no luck with the door/window sensor (HM-DW001), or the ZIR000 motion sensor, but my HSM100 sensor and Schlage lock seem to be working correctly now.
When I associate the D/W sensor, Vera adds it as a motion sensor type, but doesn’t seem to get any updates on status from it.
What was meant by “Hope you upgraded your dongle also?”
