Ok, I’ve been away for a week and upon my return I thought my scenes would fail as they have before every 3-5 days. But when I got home, my Schalge lock activated my scene and my sunset timer still works!
I’ve been playing around with deactivating the polling of my leviton scene controller ever since I noticed Vera was getting red pencils when trying to poll it. I also noticed my Vera log would fill up with a bunch of bad polls through all of my devices when my Vera would locked up.
The first time I disabled polling to the leviton controller and power cycled, it did lock up again in a few days. So I went on my self-inflicted annoying routine and rebooted or power cycled, I actually forget what I did.
But somehow the combination of disabling polling on my leviton controller, reseating my dongle, soft-rebooting through the command line, the reboot button in Vera’s UI, or a hard power cycle has my Vera stable for 7+days now, the most yet.
I’m hopeful, and if it stays up, I may finally start adding to my z-wave network again. Just wish I knew what combination of the above got me this far.
