FindVera.Com remote access down?

Was working last night, but for the last hour or so I haven’t been able to get anything. After logging in the page goes to: https://ra2.findvera.com/login.php and just hangs there with a blank screen.

(FindVera does work locally, but I’m just getting ready to leave my vacation home and need the remote access to be working.)

Anybody else have this issue? (I’m using a Vera 2 with UI2 1.0.996.)

Same here on UI3 … blank screen.

Thanks for the reply grybrd, at least it’s not just me. I’ll just hope that it comes back sometime soon.

(How many folks who purchased Veras are also beta testers?.. all of them. LOL)

Thanks structor, it looks like ra2 is in the graveyard by itself! Oh well, I put in a ticket so we’ll see how long it’s down.

Sorry, yes, it appears ra2’s hard drive crashed. This issue is resolved with UI4 since we now have redundant servers with spares online and ready. I’m trying to reach our IT guy now… If you upgrade to UI4 per the official announcement you’ll be able to get in again.

Thanks for the note and status, but I’ve tried UI4 and it was non-functional for me. It didn’t even see my local system, and therefore didn’t let me into cp.mios.com. (I know I’m not alone in that issue as its been reported on the forum also.)

I’ll have to wait until RA2 lives again. :frowning:

Coincidently, one of my greatest fears is that you will abandon “earlier” adopters who have functioning systems on “released” UI2 or UI3 code as you move forward. Please reassure us that this isn’t the plan?

Is there an ETA as to when we can expect ra2 to be back online?? I am only using this device remotely and do not have access unless I physically fly down to my place!!

My system was totally on the fritz yesterday…
System frozen…Tried resetting… Nothing worked. Couldn’t see backups on myMiOS and couldn’t refresh firmware…
AAARRRGH… I even started an RMA to return it as defective.

Today, Vera2 is a sweetheart… Firmware refreshed, reprogrammed unit and I can see backups on myMiOS…

I assume that there was some kind of a server issue?
Does this happen often?

with UI4 you are using cp.mios.com which is supposed to be a redundant server that is different from the findvera.com servers for UI2/UI3, which although there were two, they are just load balanced (RA1 and RA2) and depending on your vera S/N, then you would be on one or the other.

I’ve not had an outage yet with UI4 with cp.mios.com but then again I never had any bad luck with findvera.com either.
