Wanting to put this sensor on our deep freezer to alert me if the door is left open for x minutes. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to configure pleg and vera alerts to achieve this. Currently its alerting me when it open and closed.
I guess you can best use the Countdown timer plugin for this. Start the timer when the door opens, cancel it when the door closes and run a scene when the timer finishes. Let that scene handle the notification.

I actually got it to work by watching the tripped value in the properties. When the sensor is tripped its value is a “1” when not its a “0”. So i just created condition to watch that and if its longer then 5 minutes send an alert.
