Hello all, I had a problem with my vera3 and 1-wire ds18B20 connected Fibaro Universal Sensor. When I first connected the fibaro unit to the vera it shows three standard motion sensors then I change Device File entry from D_MotionSensor1.xml to D_TemperatureSensor1.xml but nothing changed, there is no temperature display in the widgets. Is there a solution ? I read something at the forum but nothing help to me.

Did you try to configure the sensor after you changed the file name?
What do you mean by file name ? Did you mean Device File entry name ?
Yes, that’s right…Try this; check your wiring, then do a full power excl/incl, and change the name . Remember you can’t connect more sensors after the first incl.

I suggest you try excluding the device and then re-including it again (with the DS18B20 already attached). Make sure you power down the Fibaro after its exclusion, attach the DS18B20 and then power it back up - it only recognises the DS18B20 on power up).
You should end up with 4 new device widgets: one parent and three child devices. If you end up with only 3 then it didn’t pick up the DS18B20.
The temperature sensor should be the third child device: It’s device number will be 3 higher than the parent device number (the lowest of the device numbers) and will have the ID of e3 on the settings tab. Its this device you want to overwrite the device_file with the file D_TemperatureSensor1.xml (and dont forget to Save).
It might also be worth checking if the configurations for parameters 10,11, & 12 match the default settings of 20,200,8 - check this on the parent device.
Finally you didn’t mention which UI firmware you are using. UI4 does not recognise this Fibaro device properly and I’m not sure if any version below 1.5.408 recognises it either.
Hello all again, I fix the problem and my vera and fibaro communicate very well. I want tell how I fix my problem. First check the cables, sure that the color of the cables to connect correct leg of the DS18B20. Second I make a clear exclusion to disconnect fibaro unit from vera than I become sure that fibaro and fibaro ruins are not connected to vera, this operation is the base stage if some ruins stay at the vera menu you can not communicate with fibaro, then make an inclusion for fibaro unit. This time vera recognise 4 sensor from fibaro then reset fibaro unit using method 2 at fibaro manual. Then make an inclusion operation for fibaro with vera again this time vera will recognise 3 more sensor from fibaro. We almost gone. Go find altid :e3 from _generic io advance tab than change the device_file’ entry to ‘D_TemperatureSensor1.xml’. OK its done, Reload page and see the temperature values that you miss. Than go rest you probably tired of searching solution for your problem. And say to thanks Frasier, because all the solutions that I type here is his goods. Thanks for all Frasier.
