i have some of this Home-mart Halogen Beam Lights with integrated Motion detector.
i had the idea to “z-wave” them by simply install a Fibaro Module inside the attached Box.
thanks to the small size, they fit perfectly. and work perfectly.
the Motion detector simply triggers the Fibaro and the fibaro turns on the lamp.
makes the whole setup Multi purpose, as i can use the motion sensor now to detect Movements and have other actions based on this.
AND the lamp works just like before.
however, if i turn on the lamp via z-wave … and someone walks trough, the motion detector will trigger as well and turn the lamp back off.
is there maybe a device parameter to “disconnect” the switch from the input ?

Not that I know of. You could use the S2 input instead which would achieve the same result. FGS211 modules since, I think, V1.9 support instant status update for the S2 input.
You would need to use this as a trigger for Vera to send the appropriate actions to the relay so there would be a delay of a couple of seconds before the light reacts to the motion-sensor. You could incorporate your lock-out logic using our good friend PLEG.
