Fibaro relays, associating to second input

Hello.

I have a Fibaro 1x3kW relay that controls my outside lights.
I also have a 2X1,5Kw relay that controls my double garage doors.

I thought that i would associate the second input on the 1X3kW relay to control garage door 2
My problem is that even if i associate port no 2 it’s port number 1 that opens.

The input/output connected to port no 1 is the “root” (id#24) and the input/output connected to port 2 is secondary (id#26, parent #24).
Is it at all possible to associate to chld nodes or how do i go about solving this?

Did you use Group ID 2 for the association?

I did put in “2” as Group ID on the relay from wish i want to control the garage relay yes.
Or do you mean that i also have to put in group 2 somewhere on the “set”-page?

Attached is a picture of how the association looks in vera.
Note that it says 26 in “set to” and 24 in “Currently”, as i mentioned, 24 is the root device and 26
the child device wich i actually want to control, (nad that’s the one i’ve choosen in the “set”-page).

The number to enter under Group ID 2, is that of the device that you wish to control - your garage relay.

I am struggeling with the same thing.

The device Group and set points is set to what i want to controle directly (a fibaro wall switch in this case).

After setting the association, saving and reloading UI15 the function still does not work. Any idea?

Still no luck a?m afraid.
I have up and switched the outputs so that output 1 controls the door i want to open.
But sooner or later i’m gonna want to control both doors :frowning:
Very odd if there is no sulution to this.

I made a test for you. I set an association of the S2 input of an FGS211 (v1.9) to another FGS211 relay. All I did was:

Open the Device Options tab of the first device (making sure this was the parent device).
Add Group ID 2.
Click Set for Group ID: 2.
Select the target device (device ID 37 in my case).
Click Back to ZWave options.
Close the device block and click Vera’s Save button.

Connecting live to the first FGS211 S2 input caused the second relay to switch - immediately.

I’ve attached the screen-shot of the Device Options tab for reference. If you follow the above process and it still doesn’t work, try a different target device.

Yes, as long as i target the root device id on the 2x1,5Kw relay (O1) it works great.
But if i target the O2 device id on the same realy it still triggers O1.

When you are targeting a multi-channel device you have to specify which of the endpoints you want associated. Open the [b]Device Options[/b] tab for your sending device and click [b]Set[/b] for [b]Group ID: 2[/b]. Enter 2 in the [b]Multi-channel association[/b] field for your check-marked target device. Close, Save, let it do its stuff.
