Hi
Has anyone tried the Fibaro Relay with a 12v Door Release, the manual suggests this would be possible to do, with a 230 - 12v transformer?

No reason why this wouldn’t work
You can use a transformer an switch than on/off with the Fibaro unit. In case you already have a 12v supply somewhere, you can switch that directly with the Fibaro as well, the relay contacts are isolated from the rest of the unit (and from the 220v mains).
Hi Intveltr -
Are you suggesting a Fibaro relay can handle both 230v & 12v going into it at the same time?
Not at the same time! Both relays share a common connection.
Thanks, just thought I’d check ![]()
I’m trying to do this too - haven’t figured out where to get a fibaro relay (though they say they should be avaialble in the US soon - just going through FCC now). If you figure this out let me know it works. I’m keen to do it but don’t really have much electrical knowledge so any advice would be appreciated,
