I have got 5 fibaro door window sensors already, all working fine. I got another one, which is giving me headaches. First it included ok (or so i thought) but it never changed status. So i excluded it, and then tried to include it again. No success. I manage to include it, it shows up as a motion sensor :
_Motion Sensor
Waiting for wakeup to configure device
But it never wakes up, no matter what i do. I tried excluding it, but although Vera flashed when in exclude mode, the device was still there. So i deleted the device. I think that was not a brilliant idea, as when i tried including it again, i now have 2 motion sensors waiting for wakeup…
Also what seems strange and i dont think i had that with my other fibaro door sensors, after including (and waiting for a few minutes) i have to take the battery out to fix it in position. When i put the battery back in, it keeps flashing, and i have to take the battery out and put it in a few times, and press the button inside a few times to stop it flashing. So it stopped flashing, just flashes once when opened or closed, but it does not configure properly. Could it be faulty ?

I have the similar problem, apparently with my first Fibaro Door/Window sensor.
- First had trouble including it.
- Finally it showed up as _Motion Sensor with two buttons Arm and Bypass. Below the status is a perpetual “waiting for wakeup to configure device”. No luck even after trying the Repair button. When I poll, I get a message, sensor with the name could not be found or something like that.
I am just beginning with z-wave so any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
