Fibaro dimmer with Vera Edge and Toggle switch

Hello,

I have a few Fibaro dimmers to install along with a Vera Edge. I have existing switches which are toggle type instead of momentary.

Fibaro’s dimmers come as default to work with momentary switches which meanes you need to flip the toggle switch twice for the light to switch on/off. Fibaro say you can change this setting using their home centre so it will work with a toggle type of switch.

Has anyone done this using a Vera? Any ideas where in the device settings i need to adjust?

Set the parameter 14 of the dimmer to 1.

Select the Fibaro device in the Vera UI. Click the greater than symbol to the right of the device. Select Device Options → Add Configuration Settings.

Thanks for that, however the settings do not save, what am I missing? I have attached a photo showing the settings I am entering, but they just do not save. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone offer advice on this please?

I read in some post that using a Data Size of 1 byte hex can cause problems in the current UI7 release. Try using 1 byte dec instead.

After you change any field in the configuration settings, click outside that field. When you have finished making changes, click the Save changes button and then click on Configure node right now on the device’s Advanced tab under Commands.

Can anyone say if the same settings are required with the newer Fibaro dimmer2??

Got the answer for the newer dimmer2, thought I would post it for anyone else searching :slight_smile:

Set parameter 20 to 1 (enables toggle)

To enable S2 as a switch set parameter 28 to 1
