Fibaro Dimmer and the new Dimmer2 - Whats the main difference?

Hi

I am looking at getting some new Fibaro Dimmers, but not sure if its worth paying the extra for the Fibaro Dimmer2’s or not?

I can get the first Gen Fibaro Dimmers slightly cheaper.

Does anyone know the difference?

There’s a presentation on the new Fibaro FGD212 Dimmer 2 over at Vesternet.

The new FGD212 Dimmer 2 has numerous new features a couple of them may be more important that others:

[li]Automatically detects and adjusts to leading/trailing edge dimming bulbs. - Greater bulb compatibility.[/li]
[li]Reduces wattage. Now 250watts max. - less fire w00t![/li]
[li]Energy reporting[/li][/ul]
