I have Fibaro 2x1.5W relay to connect two individual loads. For the second switch: SW2, I set the association with other applicance Module such as HomePro and Everspring Dimmer or applicance module to switch ON/OFF altogether. Initally, it works perfectly. After I run in a while says, 1 day later, I found this relay can’t suddently report back the change status to VeraLite immediately. Aside from that, the most annoying is it can’t switch ON/OFF of its associated devices on SW2. Sometime works, sometime doestn’t work then. How can I resolve it? Power OFF then ON again the mainline, it seems to become normal. It only happens on 2x1.5KW relay. I tried to use SW2 of its Dimmer to assosciate other applicance module and so far work normally.
I am using fibaro dimmer FGD 211, and I have the same problem. more over S1 is driving the lamp connected to the outlet and another lamp (everspring module) to associated to group 1. Then S2 driving a 3rd lamp (everspring module) associated with group 2
All work fine for few days then only S1 outlet is working, the associated group1 lamp does not work anymore nor the group2 S2 lamp. Even after rebooting the vera lite.
Power down all the house (aka reboot the house then all went fine again, so this means that the modules themselves seems to have a problem.
Version info of the module in vera UI says : 3,3,34,1,6
Anyone have the same problem and know how to resolve it ?
Which firmware is in your Fibaro dimmer / switch? (You can check in the Advanced tab of the device)
I had a similar problem with a ZME light switch, and contacted the vendor about this. According to them, there was an issue in the Zensys firmware (which both Fibaro and ZME use), causing a buffer overflow and stopping the instant status updates to Vera, requiring a power cycle to reset. Newer devices do not have this problem anymore.
I have at least one Fibaro dimmer with a very old version (1.4) which I never got 2nd button to work, so I shifted them to places where I did not use the 2nd button input.
The Newer ones (1.7) has been working just great for me.
So if you have the old 1.4 don’t expect it to work…
I discovered a problem with the new 3,3,42,1,7 version : the child e1 (associated with switch 1) does not update in realtime in the GUI, anyone has a solution or similar experiencE?
