I’m not sure if this has always been happening but recently I’ve noticed that when in the devices view with less than 3 rows of devices showing, the drop down menus are truncated on my iPad. This doesn’t happen on the PC.
Version : 1.0.1023
Browser : Safari
OS : iOS 9.2
Device : iPad Air 2
Not sure how to do any sort of browser debug log on iPad!
can you please try 1041
force the upgrade using
http://:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=8246&Version=29851
you can also play with the “2-columns Menu’s limit” option to force that menu to display in 2 columns instead of one. limit of 10 should work
Still happening the same in 1044 (version that downloaded when forced) I’m afraid.
I had a play with the menu limit option you mentioned. 10 still truncates, but now splits across two columns so I don’t have to scroll so far to see the end of the list. However low I make that setting, it seems like it still shows 6 rows per column, whereas only 4 can be displayed (over 1 row of devices). The situation is worse when there are no devices at all. In one of the attachments you will see that Category is selected but only the top few pixels of the dropdown are showing. Again, I can scroll the top section of the screen to get to the items (another attachment).
yep… was tryting to get a scroll bar here for the other request but sounds like it is going to be very complex to get a scroll , at the same time let bootstrap menu appear properly
can you try this one ?
Thanks, that new version seems to have fixed it. I’ve tested on 1,2,3 and lots of device rows and the dropdowns work as expected for all scenarios now. Thank you!
