Feature request(s)

Thought I’d post a few requests here and see if anyone else was after the same things.

  1. Gif support, i know people will hate me for this but having a gif flashing away on a motion sensor would be a nice feature.

  2. same as above, animate/colour cycle/pulse option to indicate alert or event.

  3. Scene image for on/off (at present you can only set one image regardless of state)

  4. Fonts size and style would be nice, being able to bold or change font to large or small to fill area’s.

  5. way out of your control until iOS 8 -but- Siri/Voice control please ;D

I think there may be a thread like this out there already… however…

I’d like to be able to have state-dependent icons for Alarm controls… ARMED, DISARMED, ALARM, EXITDELAY… and so on.

I just thought of another one. Users can change icons based on device status. It would be great to be able to change background images/colors based on a single device status. I’m thinking DAY-NIGHT. During the day, you get a bright background, and at night, it’s dark/black… much like the +12V headlight signal run to the rear of most modern car audio units.

Another one;

If possible access to the camera archive would be nice, being able to see what images have been stored on the Vera Lite / Mios archive page.

Unfortunately there is no api or documentation on this. So there is no way for a 3rd party developer to access it.

  6. the top right button for connection state is tiny, i often have to try and press it to reconnect, can it be larger or allow us to add it as button on the interface that shows connection state and will re-connect on press.

All good suggestions, and I will see what is possible in the release after the next, which will address a GUI redesign. Re point 6: most likely the status bar will be enlarged to standard iOS size, and sport larger buttons.

Would like more flasher icon’s library if possible or have a central location (web) that can be access/deposit commonly used icon’s for all HomeWave user’s. It’s been a while since your initial release and we have the same icon’s Z-z-z. Mike

Hope some of these find there way into the new version! Excited to see how this comes off! I’m planning on using a iPad as a wall mounted control panel and with biometric lock and these new features it should be EPIC!
