[Feature Request] Nest Plugin Away/Home Toggle

Hi Garrett,

I know you are currently working on a newer version of AutHomation to work with UI6 so maybe this request is something that’s already in the works, but I wanted to mention it just in case.

I have a Nest thermostat and one of the things I noticed is that the Away/Home toggle switch shows up in the app as a standard binary light switch, where the switch options are labeled “Off” and “On” and the icon is the standard light icon. Initially this isn’t very intuitive since you have to guess or remember which state means Away and which one means Home. In the Vera web interface (see images) the device buttons are labeled according to the actual function.

Obviously this isn’t a huge deal, but it would be cool if AutHomation had the words “Away” and “Home” on the device tile, similar to how the Day or Night plugin has the words “Day” and “Night”. I’m wondering if this is possible to update in a future release. It would also be cool if it had the same icons as the Nest plugin, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed or not.

I’m currently running release 3.1.3.11

This will require me to create a new device for the AutHomation app which will take a little bit of time to do. I’ll add this to my list, but it is currently not priority right now. The creator of the Nest Plugin made it so it would be compatible with third party apps by exposing it as a binary light. That is why you see it like this in my app.
