It would be great to share PL scenes between users… maybe even create a repository that all users can leverage.

Well the new Report function makes it a lot easier to capture PLxx logic for sharing. The problem I envisage is that the logic is tied very much to the intricacies of the whole system. There are so many possible combinations of Z-Wave modules, plugins and user requirements (let alone WAF ;)) that trying to transplant logic from one system to another would be quite a challenge.
But you’re right - I’m sure it would help a lot of folk to see examples of how things can be achieved. It may need some documentation standards though…
Wanted to bump this idea - Really think it would help the community share automation ideas more.
My thought…
[ul][li]creator exports scene to text file
user imports text file into PLEG
PLEG shows all data but checks to ensure Vera specific items (like devices) exist. If they do not exist then in PLEG they are highlighted so the user can know exactly what needs to be changed.[/li]

I’d love to see an import/export function as well, and a command-line interface. I’m currently working on logic for a large number of new sensors. Much of the work is repetitive- creating device properties, adding conditions and actions. It would be much easier to do this in a text editor where I could build all the properties, triggers, actions, conditions by taking advantage of things like cut & pate. Once done editing, paste the update into plugin and restart MCV. Similarly, with a command-line interface (which I realize is impractical to impossible in MCV) I could wrap the process for adding logic for new devices in a script .
