FAKRO Z-Wave Wireless Mesh Controlled Window Blinds & Shutters

FAKRO announced several new Z-Wave products for skylight type windows. The wireless controls allow the operation of an electric FTP-V pivot window, an ARF blackout roller blind and a ARZ roller shutter. The window picot has an integrated moisture sensor which closes the window automatically as soon as it detects rain.

Hi!

Have anyone used a fakro product with MiCasaVerde.

I’m thinking about investing in Fakro controllers for my sun blinds and controle them using MiCasaVerde.

Anyone having any experiance doing this?

Hi.

FTP-V U3 Electro Window with internal and external accesories is going to us now, so it will be in our office in two weeks. Then we will test it. Test result we will show on our site zhouse.pl, and here, in english version (somone else will write english version because my language skills are not best :wink: ).
Optional i may give acces to our Vera if anyone is interested.

I think it will be needed to write some plugin to fakro window, because all fakro products are seen by vera as dimmable light.

Forgive me if I didn’t understand you, but you shouldn’t need a plug-in to control the Fakro products ‘IF’ they use the multilevel (dimmable) switch class. Vera should recognize them, but may create a dimmable light device vs. a shade or window covering device. When I tested the Aeon Labs shade motor controller, it wouldn’t add as a shade controller but ended up in the UI as a dimmable light (even though that controller doesn’t support dimming/multilevel/percentages of openness, etc.).

Something would need to be added to Vera so it is auto-detected correctly, but a plug-in shouldn’t be required.
