When I go to USERS&ACCOUNT INFO → OTHER USERS. I only see one other user listed who has admin rights however I had created 3 other basic users previously.
When I try to re-add them I get the following error:
Failed to create user! Username already exists. Please try another username.
Yes I don’t see them in the list. How can I either seem them or delete them in order to recreate them.
Did you upgrade that Vera from UI5 to UI7? If so where those users on the Ui5 Vera? As the Ui5 user database and the Ui7 user database at Vera are 2 different instances it can be that the user ID’s you had in UI5 have already been snapped up by someone else in the UI7 database.
I got lucky as my UI5 user was still available in Ui7.
The user databases for UI5 and Ui6/UI7 reside on the Vera servers, not on your Vera. It doesn’t matter if you created user XY on Ui5 with admin rights to your Vera as whoever created user XY on Ui7 does not automagically get assigned those same rights. As it is a different database. The only con for you is that you have to create new users for your UI7 Vera and have to pick ones that are not already taken,.
