Failed at: Setting Special Association

I’m trying to setup two Remotec ZFM-80 relays. The first one associated to my Vera 2 no problem. On the second one, I am getting “Failed at: Setting Special Association”. I have tried to delete it, and re-associate it. Same error every time. Is the device bad? Or should I try something else?

If it includes properly and you later get this message, my bet would be a signal quality issue. Can you, temporarily at least, decrease the distance between the Vera and the ZFM-80 to test?

The vera was 3 feet away (unobstructed). :frowning: I think this relay may be defective. I got two at the same time, both tested in the same place. One works fine, the other exhibits this behavior.

Yup. Sounds like a bad device.
