Has anyone created a plugin that will slowly dim / fade light(s) from their initial state (for instance 100%) slowly down to zero % over a customizable time period?

… and it partially works in UI5 (Only works if manually triggered. Cannot be triggered via scene or via Program Logic Event Generator (PLEG))
Can this be done via Luup code?
