EZMotion 3-in-1 Sensor Light Sensor

I have a EZMotion (battery operated) running on a Vera light, and I would like to use the light sensor so that when the outside light goes dark , it turns on an outside light. I haven’t been able to do this. First of all the light sensor stays all the time in light level 41 no matter what. How should I set up the device?

and the second question, how do I make a scene/trigger that starts when a certain light level is reached?

How long ago did you set up the 3-in-1? It only reports its status periodically, it is not instant.

How long ago did you set it up? Has it been 30 minutes? Does the motion sensor work at all?

The default wake up interval is 1800 seconds (30 minutes). The sensor will wake up every 30 minutes and report light and temp. It will always immediately report motion tripped, and send the “untripped” after the “On Time” value (in your case, 1 minute).

Yes, the motion sensor works ok. It shows tripped, but it doesn’t get back to untripped after 1 minute. Maybe I should change this to 2 or 3. I saw alreay the link you send, but anyway it didn’t help much the information on that site.

Again…how long did you set it up?

What is your wake up interval? I think there is a lower limit for on time and it won’t take a number below that.

Does it ever untrip? Even after 30 min or an hour? It must, otherwise it wouldn’t trip again.

I Did buy the sensor about 1 year ago, but at that time I couldn’t really do much with it. Just yesterday I decided to have a new try.

I hit the blue reset button on the side and the sensor and did a node configuration from the MIOS. Now it seems to function at least for a few minutes after the the reset button is hit. Then it seems that it does not respond. On the mios says “waiting for wake up to configure device”.

Is it possible have this sensor wake up in intervals of 15 minutes?

There are a number of streams going on for the EZmotion 3 in 1 sensor, which is making it difficult to bring together and understand any development that people have made.

I understand there are two versions out there, and yo can tell which one you have by looking inside, if you have a blue (external power) connecting block next the battary compartment you have the new version.

Now, have either of you managed to get your EZmotion working, with light and temp reported regularly and motion being captured too ?

If so, please could you share the settings / device options that you are using.
