Ezlo Development going strong?

This has been happening quite often lately:

The web frontend is also currently experiencing outages.

It’s been about a month since the last update, and I wanted to check in on the current status. I’m experiencing glitches in the user interfaces almost daily:

There are recurring problems with the control via the web interface/app. For example, after a while, I try to manually start a Meshbot to adjust the thermostats because I’m actually home that day and the thermostats need to be reset.

I check the browser window, which is always open. Everything looks normal. Then I go to the Meshbot display. Here, I run the corresponding Meshbot. The loading indicator just spins endlessly, and nothing happens. Then I refresh the browser window. If I’m lucky, I can then run the Meshbot, which then executes within seconds and checks the box.

Sometimes, however, even after refreshing the browser, I get the message ā€œNo Devices,ā€ and I don’t see any Meshbots. Then I have to restart the device for it to work again.

And now I have a situation where, after refreshing the browser, it seems to work again, but I don’t see any (local) Meshbots in the app. Even restarting the app doesn’t fix it. After switching back and forth in the menus a few times, they are now displayed again.

So there seem to be problems with the connection between the app or the web interface. The programmed Meshbots usually run correctly regardless. Less frequently, the device itself freezes, preventing them from running either.

Will there be any updates soon to make the app and web interface more reliable? I can’t quite trust the commands I send or the values I see there.

Hello @Odysee,

We have sent you an email to collect the exact details of your issue so we can escalate it to our developers.

Thank you

I didn’t receive an email.

My controller was also unreachable today. Its LED was blinking slowly between blue and green, which corresponds to the ā€œBooting application partitionā€ status. It stayed like that even after several hours (I thought it might be updating). I’ve now restarted it.

@JonathanB
How about a status update?

I think the Christmas/New Year’s period/holidays are over, and things should really be starting to move forward now.

I don’t want to list all the open issues again and ask about them specifically. All of this should be common knowledge by now, considering how often I’ve mentioned it (geofencing, dashboard, energy meter, data logging, etc.). There’s still no response to support request #334462, which I submitted a month ago.

What’s Ezlo’s roadmap? What are you working on? What are Ezlo’s future plans? Are they shifting their focus from end users to professionals?

For the past few days, I haven’t been seeing any images from the cameras on the web dashboard (neither locally nor remotely). I can at least see images in the MiOS app, but no live video.
