This may be a easy question, but I am a bit stumped
I have installed 3 Everspring water leak detectors.
All Work fine and via trigger send email and text alerts
Is there a way to make them call a second scene, like turn on a light or alarm ??

Perhaps I am not properly understanding your question.

You can use one scene to perform multiple actions like turn on a light and send an alarm.

You can also have 1 sensor trigger many scenes such that one scene sends an alarm and another scene turns on a light and a third scene does something else.

I know I am missing something
I can set up the triggers, but I don’t see a scene you can set up, only options are arm and disarm
In triggers I cant figure out how to trigger a scene
Sorry if this is simple, I just cant connect the dots

A couple of different ways to accomplish this.

  1. Use PLEG and use the armed alarm as a trigger to test against a condition to create an action that sets a series of actions, or fires off a scene that you created. The advantage of the PLEG method is the use of the condition statement if you need to evaluate other values before firing off the action.

  2. Create a new scene. Within the scene trigger, set the everspring alarming to be the trigger for the scene. You should see it in the drop down options.
