Everspring SM103 - motion is sometimes not detected

Hi,

I have problems with this sensor. I use it for checking a window. It shows that it is configured. When I open the window, I see that the LED is flashing. But the statua at Vera 2 is not changing, it is not updated.

Sometimes it seems working, but not reliable.

Anybody experience with this sensor?

would need more information to determine if sensor is working normally. A motion sensor does not sent the “tripped” signal every time it senses motion. Once tripped it will “know” whenever motion occurs in it’s field of view and you may see your led indicating that, but it will not sent another “tripped” signal to vera until its “on time” expires without detected motion.

The problem is more that the window is closed and it is not updated at Vera.

Ahh, sorry I’m not familiar with this sensor, hopefully someone else here does. Any have this sensor working properly?

I have several of these and they have all worked perfectly since installation. Could your problem be poor comms, for example due to distance from Vera?
