Hello, I was going to reply to the old thread below but the system told me it was very old and to consider a new thread.

I have moved this sensor and it is now very close to the Vera Lite. I’m running UI7 and the latest firmware. My batteries last about 10 days and that’s it. It seems to me in the beginning like a year ago (while not reliable due to the distance and lack of zwave devices) the battery did last significantly longer.
I went to the Everspring website and submitted my question but their site didn’t give me a good indicator that my question was submitted so I’ll see if I get a response.
One of the points made was to make sure the tamper switch is depressed. While I know where that small black piece is, how can I tell after the cap is back on the sensor? It appears to go on just fine without issue.
There was also a mention about tripping it once it was alive in Vera so that it wasn’t caught in a test mode.
Does anyone have some additional insight?
