EtherRain app

Given the dry winter we had here in Calif I broke down and bought an EtherRain hoping that I could be smarter about how we use our water. I got it installed and connected to Vera. The existing EtherRain plugin leaves quite a bit to be desired. As noted in other threads, in order to get individual valve control you have to replicate the device for each valve. Also, for some reason when you turn on one zone Vera shows all zones as On even though they really aren’t. It also doesn’t seem to give any kind of status of the valve if it was turned on by another method (lawncheck.com, etc). These aren’t deal breakers but it would sure be nice to have it work more intuitively. Does anyone know if this app is still being updated or are we on our own to try and modify it?

I was disappointed with that as well.

a workaround I use was to create scenes that load up all of the timers for each zone. I use four, triggered by changes in season.
