Error Restoring Comments: PLEG 7.37

I just tried to open a PLEG and received numerous “Error Restoring Comments” messages. After the final one there were no “Actions” visible for the PLEG. All of the actions appear to be there and working working but they are not displayable. I ended up restoring the PLEG from an earlier backup so I’ve lost the recent changes

I also tried to open a PLEG and received numerous “Error Restoring Comments” messages. To overcome this issue I have done the following:

  1. Backup the file using PLEG.
  2. Open the file using notepad.
  3. Looked over the comments part [e.g. search for this term, “Comments”:] and remove any characters that might cause to an input validation error (JSON/XML) format, e.g. MyName’s => MyNames (apostrophe cause this error).
  4. Save the file under a different name.
  5. Open PLEG and restore the file.

Comment restored and the error disappeared :slight_smile:
