This should work with the new Envisalink 4, correct?

I have a 1832 panel with the new Envisalink 4 installed. I’m running UI7 and have the DSC Alarm Panel Plugin installed.

I can see that the plug in sees the Envisalink and vice versa, but the zones do not load correctly in the plugin.

Do i have to set the number of partitions and setup door zones on my Vera? I would think that would load by itself from the panel through the Envisalink 4, no?

I can’t speak for your setup, but for our environment with EVL3 and UI5, the DSC plugin did require you to manually enter the number of zones.

You’re right, i actually went ahead and but all 20 Zones in…

Will the labels update or is that something that has to be manual as well?

It does seem to be functional now so the Envisalink 4 must be compatible…

The issues you described are not specific to the EVL3 or EVL4 as the use the same API and from the that perspective the app see them as the same… This is the same for the 2DS as well.

The issues you are encountering are UI7, and the luup engine requires restarting to do the creation of the zones.

No the label will not cascade into your Vera as this is not a capability within the EVL API and won’t be soon either.
