I searched and searched and have yet to find a set of instructions to configure the plugin in a UI7 environment. I did finally manage to get the plugin to see my alarm panel, it created a few devices that did not even come close to my system. I attempted to modify the configuration on the advanced settings page (adding more zones, etc.) but then it put my Edge into a LUA startup loop creating and then deleting some additional zones with crazy labels. This loop continued for about 15 minutes including after a hard (unplug) reset. I was finally able to delete the device and stop the looping. I’m sure I did something wrong but without clear instructions it’s obscure at best. Any help would be great…
I’ve had the most success with alternate ui with the dsc plugin on ui7. The native ui7 is a challenge with the dsc plugin.
Thanks, you were right, I had far better control using ALT UI for sure. Have all 28 devices set up now. Still can’t arm either of the partitions, I get the error saying “remote arm not enabled”. Looking at that variable it was set to false, I changed it to true and then I get the error that the remote arm variable must be either blank, false or a value from the WIKI, kinda lost there. Blank does not allow me to arm so what should the value be…? And the plugin itself has gone missing Vera can detect device for some reason.
The value is either “arm” or “disarm”. Arm limits vera to arming only. Disarm allows for either arming and disarming the alarm.

I finally have it working normally, I have all my alarm side devices exposed in Vera and can see their state changes. I built a scene using a motion to turn on a light and although it’s wicked slow to respond it does respond. I can arm and disarm via Vera’s web page and even via Veramate on iOS. One last thing is that Vera still shows the device that the plugin created as “not dectable” and I have a red sad face house on the dashboard. Any thoughts why Vera thinks it can’t see the device yet it seems to be working normally…?
I’ve been struggling with this for over a year now and stopped trying until today! This integration is the reason I bought Vera and I’ll really appreciate if you could share your screenshot or setup instructions so that all of us can benefit
