Entering Device Parameter Settings

Aeon support has given me a series of parameter settings for it’s 4in1 Multisensor device. Examples:

Parameter 3 [4 byte dec]: 600
Parameter 101 [4 byte dec]: 225
Parameter 102 [4 byte dec]: 0

Where and how do I enter these parameters in the device setting page of the Veralite Dashboard?

I believe you are looking for Device Options → Add Configuration settings.

How did I miss that?? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction…

OK, I tried to enter the suggested parameters for the Aeon Multisensor based on what the Aeon tech emailed to me, but they did not seem to take. Is there any available documentation on how, when and why to add parameters to a device?

Three things, go to the advanced tab after saving your changes and press the configure node now button. Then reload Luup from the develop apps screen. When you are done with that, stick your right index finger in your mouth and give yourself a wet Willey in your left ear.

I’ve made this work with other devices so I’m not sure which action made it save.
