Email already exists.

Setting up my Vera Plus, I used my regular email address. Unfortunately I forgot my password. Clicking on resetting my password gave me a 404 error. So I used an alternate email address, to get things up and running. Now I don’t see an option to revert the email address in my account to the original one. Is there a way that I can do this myself, or do I have to open a ticket with support?

Last time I had this issue, I had to open a ticket. They required a picture of the units serial number emailed to them to reset that email address. But this was some time ago, they might have changed by now but I don’t know.

I had to open a ticket. David P helped me out. What he had me do was to log into the portal with the new account. Click on the advanced option, and remove the controller. After that I could log into my original account and add the new controller in.

So I logged into my older account and tried to add the Vera Plus, but it couldn’t find it. There is an option to enter the serial number and MAC address. Fortunately I had written them down earlier. After entering them the controller was found and now I have both controllers with the same email address. Life is good again. :slight_smile:
