Is it easier to have the Echo control my Vera by installing the bridge hack or by buying a Wink bridge and using the Vera app to link to Wink?

I have 3 Echoes, a Vera on UI5, about 20 bulbs, MyQ for garage doors, Yale lock, several zwave switches…

I do have a media server running Windows 8.1 that is always on, but I’m not proficient with Github and java.

I had no experience with Github or Java before I bridged the echo and vera. Just follow the instructions on this thread - http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,31920.0.html. There was a learning curve and I am still not sure I know what I did, but the instructions on that thread are very easy to follow.
