I am a new user (santa gave it to me) and i have set up quite a few lighting and a thermostat now on my vera 3. I just finally installed and got the ping sensor working to turn lights on when I come home. Anyways it works ok but I am thinking of going the RFID tag and reader route. I have searched and found the activeRFID plugin but everything seams outdated as far as how to implement it and where to get parts. What is the best way being used now? What parts and so on? Also while searching the net I came across a z-wave RFID tag reader from a site ihome.eu
Would this work with vera? Has anyone used this? I have not seen anything in the forums about it. Looks like a easy way to add rfid to turn lights on/off when leaving and lock/unlock doors. Thanks for any info you might have.
