Dual Dongle

I will be moving to a country with 220V (European) and thus I will have to get the Z-Wave dongle that can communicate to European Z-Wave equipment such as light switches and wall sockets.

However, other than the switches atc. the European equipment appears limited. As I cannot find any door locks etc. I would like to take some locks with me.

My Question is thus, can I use a US and European Dongle at the same time (Vera2 has 2 USB ports) and so enable the communication with a mix of product frequencies?

The country is not in Europe and has noe regulation in the frequuencies used by Z-Wave (I think).

Sorry if this question has been asked and addressed before. I am new and only a pending customer. If a answer exist, if the good forum members can direct me there I would appreciate it. (I quick search did not yield any success)

Thanks

Sorry only one at a time is possible.

It has been discussed before and somebody suggested to use two bridged vera’s. This should work in theory.

Right. The folks on the other side of the pancake ;D talked about this not too long ago as they are in the same boat (i.e. no locks). Not sure if and how they proceeded.

Check this and this.

Thanks everyone for the tips and links

Would look into it
