DSC NT9005 any good?

I can get hold of a DSC NT9005 for a very good price. It includes DSC NT9005 Envoy central unit EU, 3x WS4904P & USB PCLINK-SCW

Can it be made to work with Vera and the DSC plugin?

This is the unit: [url=http://www.dsc.com/index.php?n=products&o=view&id=889]NT9005 Control Panel - NT9005 Security Products | DSC

Doubt it.

No, neither the NT9005 or 9010 variant can be integrated.

is there any way to replace anything (eg the NT9005) by something else that would work? What are the key components needed to actually have a working DCS / Vera setup?

The supported panels are listed in the DSC page:

Also there are many threads on this sub board with the same question and http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,16191.0.html would be a good starting point.

Essentially you need a power series panel (1616, 1832 or 1664), and keypad (Hybrid wireless keypad if you want to use wireless sensors) and either a DSC IT100 module (Also requires a USB to Serial adapter), or an Eyez-On EVL3.

Thanks so far. Although I have been reading most of the posts and stuff is probably well in all the existing content, it’s still not 100% clear.

Just to double check;

I Need the PC1616 (or 1832 or 1664) panel like this: [url=http://www.ebay.nl/itm/DIGITAL-SECURITY-CONTROLS-DSC-PC1616NKCP01-/310839690789?pt=US_Security_Cameras&hash=item485f7d4625&_uhb=1]DIGITAL SECURITY CONTROLS DSC PC1616NKCP01 | eBay

The wireless keypad like this : [url=http://www.ebay.nl/itm/TYCO-SAFETY-PRODUCTS-DSC-RFK5500ENG-64-zone-full-message-LCD-keypad-/310839694725?pt=US_Security_Cameras&hash=item485f7d5585&_uhb=1]TYCO SAFETY PRODUCTS DSC RFK5500ENG 64 zone full message LCD keypad | eBay

The Eyezon EVL3 is avail for about 100 euro. Then get some sensors (Will then then the 3x WS4904P (motion sensors) work?) and install the plugin.

Correct?

Yep, that will all work.

One thing to bear in mind with wireless motion sensors (compared to the wired counterparts) is that they have a little bit of a delay compared to the wired versions if you want to use them to trigger lights etc.

The wireless motion sensor you had were they EU or US.

The unit, wireless module and wireless sensor need to be from the same region.
